Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Roman Building Materials LTD. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload goods to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive both straight and articulated trucks for transporting materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Conduct emergency roadside repairs as necessary.
  • Inspection Duties: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in order.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
