Dental Care Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Downtown Dental Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
- Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental procedures, and maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
- Order dental and office supplies to ensure our clinic is well-stocked and equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials for use during procedures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

- Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant as needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Perform intra-oral duties, including taking X-rays and recording dental procedures.
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work setting: Dental practice.
