About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at JPC Services Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings, and adapt to changing work conditions and physical demands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on vocational training or apprenticeships in painting and decorating.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the painting and decorating trade, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing work demands.
