Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with work under pressure.
