Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAMRA JAKHAR INC O/A OSMOWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, and monitor expenses to ensure that we are within budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve the issue.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, and ability to work independently.
