Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KPJ FOOD SERVICE INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire food service staff, manage their performance, and ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, own transportation, and own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, with a permanent position and 30 to 40 hours per week.
