Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KPJ FOOD SERVICE INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to food preparation and handling, and will be required to wear a uniform and safety equipment.
