Medical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced test procedures in the field of anatomical pathology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including histology, to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Work collaboratively with other laboratory professionals to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of laboratory information systems and computer applications.
- Exercise initiative in problem-solving and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) in Histology.
- At least two years of current technical experience in histology, preferably in a similar laboratory setting.
- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications.
- Mature, flexible, and organized with excellent communication skills.
