Senior Vendor Manager, Automotive, Amazon Canada

We are seeking a seasoned business leader to join our Hardlines category team on Amazon Canada as a Senior Vendor Manager. This role will be responsible for managing the P&L and setting the strategic direction for a large and diverse business within the Hardlines category.
Key Responsibilities- Manage vendor relationships to drive business growth and profitability
- Analyze data to identify key brands and opportunities for expansion
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve vendor performance and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and logistical issues
- Lead negotiations with vendors to drive business results
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Prior experience in retail buying, merchandising, or planning
