Amazon is seeking a seasoned business leader to join the Hardlines category team in Canada. As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of a large and diverse business within the category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the P&L and set the strategic direction for the business
  • Work with highly strategic vendors to drive their business towards growth
  • Analyze data to identify key brands to target and build long-term relationships with vendors
  • Resolve operational, logistical, or business issues and lead negotiations on Amazon's behalf
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Prior experience in retail buying, merchandising, or planning
