About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vendor Manager to join our team at Amazon Canada. As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for owning the P&L and relationships with some of the largest brands in the Wireless space.

You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as inventory management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, operations, and finance to drive the performance of vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by executing annual and ongoing vendor negotiations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the industry, business trends, events, and continually monitor both industry and competitor developments.
  • Maximize Amazon's business and financial profitability through selection optimization and expansion opportunities.
  • Have an understanding of customer needs and use that knowledge to advocate for, and drive delivery of, improvements that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
  • Build vendor/brand relationships - be the primary point of contact for vendor selection on-boarding, escalations, and negotiations.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, all while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Have a complete understanding (inclusive of the strategic context) of internal and external variables that impact your business. This includes owning forecasting, analyzing, understanding, and reporting on the business.
  • Act as mentor and additional point of escalation for Brand Specialists and Vendor Managers within your categories.
