We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vendor Manager to join our Amazon Canada team. As a Vendor Manager, you will play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and top-line performance for our category.
Key Responsibilities- Category P&L Management: You will be responsible for managing the profit and loss of our categories, ensuring that we are meeting our financial goals.
- Vendor Negotiations: You will work closely with our vendors to negotiate contracts and agreements that benefit both parties.
- New Product Launches: You will be responsible for launching new products into our market, ensuring that they meet our quality and customer satisfaction standards.
- Ownership of Key Team-Level Business Functions: You will own key business functions such as pricing, selection, and profitability, ensuring that we are meeting our customer needs.
- Defining Vendor and Category Level Growth Strategies: You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop growth strategies for our vendors and categories.
- 3+ Years of Experience: You will have at least 3 years of experience in a related field, such as retail, operations, product management, or business management/consulting.
- Excel Experience: You will have strong experience with Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling.
- Financial Analysis and P&L Ownership: You will have experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Bachelor's Degree: You will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience Managing Large Data Sets: You will have experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in Vendor Negotiations, Pricing and Promotion, Inventory Management, and Product Development: You will have experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
