Senior Vendor Manager, Automotive, Amazon Canada

Amazon is seeking a seasoned business leader to join the Hardlines category team in Canada. As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of a large and diverse business within the category.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the P&L and set the strategic direction for the business
- Work with highly strategic vendors to drive their business towards growth
- Analyze data to identify key brands to target and build long-term relationships with vendors
- Resolve operational, logistical, or business issues and lead negotiations on Amazon's behalf
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Prior experience in retail buying, merchandising, or planning
