About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Initiatives Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting large-scale projects to modernize cancer screening programs in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing project working group meetings and activities
  • Develop project deliverables, including project management artifacts such as project charters, detailed project plans, and other project control documentation
  • Define scope and deliverables in coordination with the Manager/Team Leader/Project Manager
  • Develop various products to execute on the program/project plan, support internal and external communication, reporting, and decision-making
  • Lead the analysis of information to complete project deliverables, including researching various information sources, organizing and facilitating working sessions with key stakeholders, and facilitating formal reviews and approvals
  • Identify project risks and issues, including the identification of options for resolution and recommended course of action
  • Monitor adherence to project schedules, track and report on project progress, and provide forecasts of final delivery timelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in one of the above disciplines is preferred
  • Certificate in project management (CAPM or PMP) is an asset
  • 2-4 years of related work experience is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working on projects is preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Experience conducting analysis in a project or operational setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and standards
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of MS Project is an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and graphical communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
