Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst

The Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of Toronto Hydro-Electric Systems Limited (THESL) Capital initiatives. This position entails the collection, examination, and reporting of data pertinent to the THESL Capital and Maintenance Work Programs. The Analyst is tasked with the development of methodologies, protocols, and tools to uphold compliance and governance in the execution of the Capital and Maintenance Work Program. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for establishing databases and automated reporting systems to assist leadership and external partners in efficiently overseeing capital work initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating various projects and programs to identify gaps and trends
  • Generating reports detailing project and program statuses and outcomes
  • Overseeing contractor performance and deliverables
  • Detecting gaps, trends, and root causes while formulating solutions
  • Collecting and analyzing data to create precise reports
  • Leading initiatives for process enhancement and mapping
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for project alignment
  • Designing and maintaining reporting tools, forms, and databases
  • Conducting operational data analysis and quality assurance monitoring
  • Contributing to organization-wide initiatives that align with business strategies
  • Supporting the development of rate applications and ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business process improvement and redesign
  • 2+ years of experience in a construction project setting
  • Class G license is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP enterprise modules is advantageous
  • Experience in project or program management is preferred
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx is beneficial
  • Capability to identify issues based on data analysis
  • Development of statistical tracking methods and feedback systems
  • Experience in process mapping and documentation
  • Strong business insight and strategic thinking skills

Toronto Hydro provides a Hybrid Work Arrangement, allowing for remote work opportunities. Employees are expected to reside within Ontario and maintain a reasonable commute to the office.
