About the Role

MVD Law Professional Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant - Legal Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, including coordinating schedules, preparing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external parties, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Document Management: Prepare and review documents, including court documents, contracts, and other legal materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including minutes of meetings, court sessions, and other relevant documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a law firm or legal environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large caseload.
