The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and family members to facilitate, restore, and maintain optimal levels of function in areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up services to clients in hospital, home, and community settings.
- Establish individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients.
- Manage a busy caseload and prioritize issues using clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Contribute to the clinical education of OT students and related health disciplines.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist with:
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing service needs.
- Casual Relief.
$42.68 Hourly.
