In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our concrete production facility. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Your Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Ensure all policies governing day-to-day operations are strictly adhered to. Monitor concrete washout procedures meticulously, holding drivers accountable for following established protocols.
- Production Management: Oversee the efficient handling of returned concrete, directing its pouring into block molds and maintaining a clean and organized block making area. Ensure that block molds are promptly stripped and reset each morning.
- Workplace Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine and organized work environment. Guarantee that areas accessible to customers and employees are free from sensitive information. Uphold the highest standards of general plant cleanliness.
- Safety & Equipment Management: Ensure readily available and well-maintained PPE for both employees and guests. Verify that all safety equipment remains accessible and in optimal condition at all times.
- Achieve a Zero Safety Incident Performance Objective.
- Drive the achievement of targeted KPIs, encompassing safety, service, and volume delivered.
- Cultivate exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Optimize the utilization of all company resources effectively and efficiently.
- Promote safe and healthy work practices among all staff members.
- Foster a positive and motivated workforce.
- Ensure strict adherence to Company Policies.
- Champion environmental excellence and maintain accurate records.
- Implement best practices and operational management tools.
- Develop and mentor operational personnel.
- Maximize productivity and optimize labor and equipment utilization.
- Guarantee compliance with all relevant governmental regulations.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.
- Experience within the ready-mix concrete business is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer software applications such as Word, Excel, SAP, and Command-Alkon.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Customer service-oriented approach.
