Job Title: Batching Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Batching Supervisor to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our concrete batching plant, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete batchers, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the plant.
  • Monitor and control the production process, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the plant is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in the ready mix industry is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
