Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at West Airdrie Dental. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Communication: Interview patients to obtain case histories, schedule and confirm appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete insurance and other claim forms, maintain filing systems, order supplies, and perform data entry.
- Medical Records: Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, prepare draft agendas for meetings, and take, transcribe, and distribute minutes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook.
- Area of Work Experience: Charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams, correspondence, financial statements, invoices, reports, and records.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, and reliable.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Health Benefits: Dental plan, permanent employment, 30 hours per week, English language.
