EMCO Corporation, one of Canada's largest integrated distributors of products for the construction industry, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Trainee to join our team. As a Sales Development Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-phase program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in our dynamic business environment.

Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics

  • Gain a deep understanding of our products, from sourcing to delivery, and develop expertise in sales support.

Phase 2: Counter Sales

  • Immerse yourself in customer service, counter sales, order management, and inventory control, and learn to navigate financial statements and credit management.

Phase 3: Inside Sales

  • Develop the skills to process orders from start to finish, including providing timely quotes, account management, and sourcing materials.

Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management

  • Learn to identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Phase 5: Career Advancement

  • Take the skills and knowledge you've acquired and determine your ideal career path within EMCO Corporation.

We're looking for a candidate who is:

  • College and/or University degree
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
