Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager for Financial Solutions plays a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining the product roadmap for a suite of Finance Products. The ideal candidate is assertive, inquisitive, results-driven, and exceptionally skilled at fostering collaboration. This individual prioritizes the needs of ServiceNow's Finance personnel, including employees, contingent workers, managers, leaders, partners, and customers, in all endeavors. You excel in a highly matrixed environment, adept at dismantling barriers and working across divisions to achieve objectives. You are prepared to delve into intricate challenges and possess the persuasive abilities necessary to unite teams and deliver optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Program Management, Change Management, Finance stakeholders, and Digital Technology (DT) teams to shape product strategy, vision, business requirements, product planning, roadmap prioritization, and marketing efforts.
  • Act as the advocate for the business, converting strategic objectives into business cases, value definitions, and initial requirements for new products and enhancements.
  • Identify and align roadmap dependencies while prioritizing opportunities to co-develop solutions in partnership with technology, engineering, and UX teams.
  • Engage in all aspects of product development, including product planning, requirements refinement, tradeoff decisions, test plan development, success criteria, and agile ceremonies.
  • Support program management, change management, and internal go-to-market strategies regarding product marketing, change management plans, and enablement activities (e.g., knowledge articles, FAQs for Finance case management).
  • Utilize product principles and design thinking to automate processes, innovate on the ServiceNow platform, and deliver a streamlined and highly integrated employee experience.
  • Provide thought leadership on enhancing product maturity across the organization and support internal training and change management initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a product manager, skilled in cross-functional collaboration to create seamless, end-to-end experiences that deliver value.
  • A strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, capable of defining and driving impactful outcomes that enhance satisfaction, deliver key results, and boost adoption/usage.
  • Adept problem solver, skilled in accurately defining issues, ensuring the right problems are addressed, and persistently working towards holistic solutions.
  • Collaborative leader with the ability to inspire teams, drive engagement, synthesize diverse opinions, and influence alignment.
  • Innovative mindset, consistently exploring possibilities and thinking big.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience in software or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Finance processes and systems.
  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts across various functions (e.g., business, technology, communications, data science, operations).
  • Capacity to balance strategic thinking with swift execution.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in a dynamic, high-growth software design and development environment, with the agility to respond quickly to opportunities and challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex topics to leadership, peers, and various levels within the organization.
  • Highly organized and proficient in managing work requirements to meet deadlines.
