Project Controls Specialist

Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Analyst to support our client in the Construction Industry in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development of project schedules, reviewing execution plans, measuring progress, and ensuring safety and quality components.
Key Responsibilities:- Progress Measurement: Record progress and deviation against project schedules, track and report on project schedules, and monitor and validate project quality progress.
- Reporting: Generate project status reports, monitor, evaluate, and report project costs against budgets.
- Planning and Scheduling: Prepare and update progress worksheets, detail schedules, and graphs for control and reporting purposes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar field. Project Management or Project Controls Certification is considered an asset.
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience on construction projects in the industrial construction industry with a focus on project controls, planning, scheduling, cost control, change management, risk management, and reporting.
- Skills: Proven experience with cost and schedule control systems, resource planning, procurement, and earned value management. Fluency with unit rates, material and equipment pricing, labor pricing, and other estimate components and techniques. Proficient skills with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Primavera P6.
- Flexibility: Opportunity to be based in Acheson or Calgary after project completion.

- Contract Position: Three months contract position with opportunity for extension or permanent placement.
