Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at COBS Bread Danforth. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Maintenance and Operation: Operate machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude.
