About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at Upper Crust. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Team Support: Train staff and provide guidance on bakery procedures.
Work Environment

As a Bakery Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
