We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food in our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet the needs of our guests and ensure quality standards are met.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with our culinary vision.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
