Restaurant Operations Supervisor

The role of the Assistant Manager in a restaurant setting is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of the establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, financial acumen, and customer service skills.
Qualifications- Education: College or CEGEP diploma
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
- Financial Management: Analyze financial statements to enhance and sustain the restaurant's profitability.
- Staff Recruitment: Identify and hire qualified personnel.
- Financial Reporting: Manage cash flow and prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related documentation.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments of staff.
- Inventory Control: Organize and oversee inventory management.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other necessary items.
- Marketing Participation: Engage in the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patrons.
- Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals.
Work Environment- Conditions: Fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work Schedule: Permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
