Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and tech-savvy Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our building and its utilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance to prevent potential issues and malfunctions.
  • Execute maintenance tasks based on various forms of instructions, including visual aids and verbal communication.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance requests, which may include repairing drywall, machinery, and electrical systems.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly.
  • Install and set up appliances and equipment as required.
  • Ensure the functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms.
  • Maintain tools and workspaces in a safe and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Analyst to ensure adequate stock of maintenance supplies.
  • Document daily maintenance activities thoroughly.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Stay informed about regulations related to building maintenance and safety.
  • Perform regular inspections of the building and equipment to identify any emerging issues.
  • Manage repairs and engage specialists when necessary.
  • Assess equipment conditions and plan for replacements as needed.
  • Occasionally assist as a driver to cover for team members.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in building and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient with technology and tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC systems, and general repairs.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments.
  • Professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
