Position Overview

Our client, a well-established IT Solutions provider, is seeking a Technical Action Centre Analyst to enhance their team. This organization specializes in delivering comprehensive network consulting, integration, and support services tailored for large-scale enterprise networks.

Core Responsibilities

The Technical Action Centre Analyst will be tasked with:

  • Providing first-level maintenance support and problem diagnosis for clients utilizing additional support services.
  • Collaborating closely with Field Service Personnel to deliver technical assistance on various product-specific initiatives.
  • Documenting and reporting client issues effectively.
  • Engaging in customer support meetings and liaising directly with OEM suppliers regarding support matters.
  • Participating in market research and profiling account opportunities.
  • Leading or contributing to product, solution, or application-based seminars and workshops.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Eligibility for Federal Government Enhanced Security clearance, with a minimum of five years residency in Canada.
  • Intermediate experience (3-5 years) or senior-level experience (5+ years) in network security.
  • Knowledge and certifications in various network security technologies, with preference for Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE and RSA.
  • Proven experience in installing firewalls within client environments.
  • A willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (one week per month).
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong sense of client empathy.
Growth and Development

This position is designed as a mid-term opportunity, with a potential transition into roles such as Field Service Representative or Account Manager within 24-36 months, depending on individual aspirations.

Compensation and Training

The compensation structure includes a base salary along with a quarterly bonus contingent on the completion of defined deliverables. There is potential for future ownership stakes as the company aims for employee ownership. A comprehensive training plan is in place to ensure candidates acquire the necessary skills and certifications, with financial support for certification pursuits.

Additional Responsibilities

Other duties may include:

  • Collecting initial information from contract customers.
  • Debugging customer environments and replicating issues.
  • Liaising with vendors for customer support resolutions.
  • Providing technical support for pre-sales and post-sales inquiries.
  • Tracking inventory and managing after-hours support for contracted clients.
