Job Summary

BYTEMINDS IT SERVICES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and providing top-notch support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Web Development: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines, and respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers.
  • Server Management: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, and work with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our computer networks.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
