Position Overview

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Specialization in computer systems networking and telecommunications
Work Environment
  • Engagement with computer hardware or software retail and wholesale
  • Involvement in service and repair operations
  • Provision of on-site customer support
  • Maintenance and installation tasks across various locations
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks
  • Address and enhance web server hardware and software issues
  • Implement robust data, software, and hardware security measures
  • Establish local area networks and Internet connections
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges
  • Identify the nature, cause, and location of network issues
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test and service documentation
Candidate Screening
  • Availability for shift or on-call duties
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Willingness to relocate for the position

  • Previous experience in the networking field

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years and less than 5 years of relevant experience.
