About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Technician to join our team at Dreams Network & Technology Inc. As a Network Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Troubleshoot Network Infrastructure
    • Ensure the stability and security of our network infrastructure
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with network hardware and software
  • Administer Network Systems
    • Configure and manage network devices, such as routers and switches
    • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Provide Technical Support
    • Assist customers with technical issues related to our network services
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on network-related topics
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems networking and telecommunications
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including on-site customer service, repair, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations and may be required to travel.
