Our client, a well-established IT Solutions provider, is seeking a Technical Action Centre Analyst to enhance their support services. This organization is recognized for its expertise in network consulting, integration, and support services, focusing on optimizing the performance of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise networks.
Core Responsibilities
The Technical Action Centre Analyst will be responsible for delivering level 1 maintenance support and diagnosing issues for clients who have opted for additional support services beyond the standard offerings. Key duties include:
- Providing level 1 problem diagnosis via phone to maintenance clients.
- Documenting and reporting client issues.
- Participating in customer support meetings.
- Collaborating directly with OEM suppliers on support matters.
- Engaging in market research and account opportunity profiling.
- Leading or participating in product, solution, or application-based seminars and workshops.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility for Federal Government Enhanced Security; residency in Canada for a minimum of five years.
- Intermediate experience of 3-5 years or senior experience of 5+ years in network security.
- Knowledge and certifications in various network security technologies, with preference for Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE and RSA.
- Proven experience in installing firewalls in client environments.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation of one week per month.
- Exceptional communication skills and strong client empathy.
Growth Opportunities
This position is designed as a mid-term role, with a typical duration of 24-36 months, leading to potential advancement into an outside field service representative or a direct sales role as an Account Manager, based on individual aspirations.
Compensation and Training
The compensation structure includes a base salary complemented by a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of specific deliverables. The organization is committed to employee development, offering a comprehensive training plan that includes funding for certifications and travel to achieve these qualifications.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties may include:
- Collecting initial information for contract customers.
- Debugging customer problem environments.
- Assisting with on-site and in-house projects related to infrastructure and security.
- Providing after-hours support for contracted customers.
