About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at Dreams Network & Technology Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Troubleshoot and maintain web server hardware and software
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Computer systems networking and telecommunications
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location
  • Previous experience in this field of employment
  • Highest level of study completed
