Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at S & P Foods Inc. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
