Your Opportunity:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be part of a collaborative team, working with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical professional practice, independently and as part of a team, to deliver rehabilitation services
  • Participate in planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services
  • Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff as needed
  • Inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development with clinical expertise
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification
  • Recent adult inpatient acute care experience within Alberta
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with complex medical patient populations (end of life, chronic disease management, post ICU, dementia)
  • Instrumental assessment (VFSS) competence
