Our Commercial Management Office is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Administrator to play a vital role in managing complex contracts for our large-scale capital projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Contract Expertise: Review, analyze, and interpret contract requirements, tenders, and documents to ensure alignment with Metrolinx's strategies and protect our interests. Identify and recommend revisions to minimize risk.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors, reviewing proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Dispute Resolution: Effectively address and resolve contract disputes, leveraging your strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Contract Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, execution, amendments, and closeout procedures.
  • System Proficiency: Utilize contract management systems (e.g., Primavera Contract Manager, Oracle Unifier) to track progress, manage documentation, and ensure efficient workflow.
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in contract administration within a construction or infrastructure environment.
  • In-depth understanding of contract law, Ontario legislation (Construction Act, OPS Directives), and legal proceedings.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems.
