Job Title: Senior Contract Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Analyst to join our team at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). As a key member of our Contract Management team, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for our natural gas and storage portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract administration: Manage contract processes, ensuring timely completion of all associated milestones and obligations.
  • Negotiation: Support in contract negotiations and develop negotiation principles, strategies, and processes.
  • Contract development: Participate in the analysis and development of contracting terms and conditions for contract management documents.
  • Stakeholder relations: Establish relationships with contract counterparties and represent the IESO at meetings.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business.
  • At least 2 years of progressive electricity industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with contract counterparties.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario electricity Market Rules and bidding/dispatch processes.
