Job Summary

As a Senior Contract Administrator at Turner Fleischer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful realization of projects that meet and exceed client expectations. You will coordinate contract administration activities, ensuring seamless alignment between on-site activities and project demands. Your strong leadership abilities and construction knowledge will enable you to navigate the day-to-day challenges of projects on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish comprehensive work plans for Contract Administration (CA) projects, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources to ensure seamless coordination and effective implementation within the CA team.
- Support the project team through deliverables review, monitor progress; provide updates to Project Manager.
- Review submittals such as shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups for conformance with drawings and specifications; prepare RFI responses and change documentation.
- Evaluate contractors monthly progress claims, coordinate approvals, guide preparation of Payment Certificates and project closeout documents.
- Conduct site visits to execute reviews, document findings and communicate identified deficiencies to all stakeholders.
- Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and additional site meetings, taking an active role in discussions.
- Ensure alignment with contract documents and design intent. Identify and communicate potential issues, inconsistencies, and constructability to the Project Manager proactively, providing solutions, as necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge of updates and changes to building codes, by-laws, and regulations to ensure that decisions align with the latest standards and requirements.
- Prepare fee proposals for the CA scope by providing valuable input to the Project Manager. Consistently identify changes in CA scope and communicate these to the Project Manager for the preparation of Additional Service Authorizations (ASAs).

Requirements

- Diploma in Architectural Technology or degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, Bluebeam.
- Minimum 8 years of Architectural experience including Contract Administration.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
- A driver's license is required.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.
