**Job Summary**

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Senior Corporate Services Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing financial and administrative functions within the Department of Industry, Tourism, and Investment (ITI) in the region.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee financial and administrative functions within the Department of Industry, Tourism, and Investment (ITI) in the region.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to management and staff.
  • Manage budget preparation and control, ensuring adherence to GNWT policies and regulations.
  • Act as a liaison with Financial and Employee Shared Services.
  • Perform budget analysis, financial reporting, and procurement oversight.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong understanding of financial management standards, such as those set by the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB).
  • Familiarity with GNWT financial systems, policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office.

**Education and Experience:**

  • Diploma in finance or business.
  • 5 years of related progressive experience in finance and accounting.
