About the Role:
Karis Disability Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities and promoting life development in accordance with person-centered plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the support team, families, advocates, friends, and community partners to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Provide reports on clinical interventions and liaise with clinical professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Collect and analyze data to inform treatment plans and actively carry out prescribed programs and treatments.
- Complete administrative duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- Developmental Service Worker Diploma or Apprenticeship, Child and Youth Care Diploma (CYC) preferred or related education.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, afternoons, evenings, alternating weekends, and occasional overnights.
