About the Role

Co-operators is seeking a skilled Appraiser II, Imagery to join our Claims team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating peace of mind for our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate vehicle damages remotely to determine reparability and work with internal and external customers, as well as vendors.
  • Create and review written damage appraisals using damage repair expertise.
  • Schedule appraisal appointments, discuss repair procedures, and communicate timelines with clients and claimants.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and build relationships throughout the claims process to ensure safe, quality repairs.
  • Provide exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 5 years of collision repair and estimating business or related experience.
  • Post-secondary diploma.
  • Autobody Repair Technician or Refinisher Certification and Physical Damage Appraiser Certificate.
  • Expert knowledge of vehicle construction and collision repair techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to attain provincial appraiser license(s) depending on the province of work.

Expected Salary Range: $65,000 -- $85,000
