We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Appraisal Unit Claims Manager to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Field Appraisal team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate activities to achieve quality and compliance objectives of repairs performed by vendors, in accordance with Intact policies and procedures.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on indemnity and expense control, as well as optimal customer experience.
- Perform quality control of estimates produced by in-house appraisers and body shops, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Manage team activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the optimal use of human, financial, and material resources.
- Support teams of trusted networks for complaints related to estimates.
- College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of management, coaching, and mentoring experience, preferably in a claims environment.
- Knowledge of the appraisal process and software.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve organizational objectives.
