Canna Cabana Waterloo is a dynamic and growing company in the cannabis industry, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to oversee the daily operations of our store, providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of retail associates. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and team management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist store management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence, providing guidance and direction to team members as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the management of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Staff Management: Provide direction, guidance, and instruction to all store associates, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Store Conditions: Ensure that the store is consistently maintained to a high standard, with all areas being clean and well-organized.
  • Staffing: Assist in ensuring that staffing levels are adequate to meet business needs, providing support to the Store Manager as needed.
  • Sales and Customer Service Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional sales and customer service skills and providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Company Policies and Legislation: Ensure that all company policies and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to and upheld by all staff members.
  • Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to the appropriate individual as needed.
  • Health, Safety, and Security: Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.
  • Sales Targets and KPIs: Achieve sales targets and store-level KPIs, working closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Cannabis Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in the retail cannabis industry, with a strong background in sales, customer service, and team management.
  • Qualifications: Must have valid CannSell to work in a retail cannabis store, and be able to successfully complete a Police Background Check.
  • Skills: Demonstrated sales and service orientation, excellent time management and prioritizing skills, ability to train and motivate staff, and strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Availability: Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday, including nights, holidays, weekends, and at different locations.
