Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at the Stacked Pancake House. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including food order summaries for the chef.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
The Stacked Pancake House is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work under pressure to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
