Food Service Operations Manager

PK Paris Inc is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team.
- The successful candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in a related role.
- We are looking for someone who can establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate staff in food preparation, and train staff in job duties and safety procedures.
- The ideal candidate will be able to estimate ingredient and supply requirements, hire and manage food service staff, and maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as the Food Service Supervisor will also be responsible for addressing customer complaints and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- A permanent position with 37.5 hours of work per week is available.
Responsibilities:
- Establish work schedules and methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Hire food service staff.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
Working Conditions:
- 5-10 people supervised.
- Work term: Permanent.
- Work language: English.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
