Culinary Services Supervisor

As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of food preparation and service in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will ensure that our team delivers high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.

- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Fast-paced and dynamic
- Hot and noisy conditions
- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Estimate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit operational reports
- Supervise the assembly of food trays
- Establish and manage work schedules
- Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; standing for extended periods is required
- Strong client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
