The role of a Food Services Supervisor is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of culinary services within our establishment. This position requires a dedicated individual who can manage staff effectively and maintain high standards of food quality and service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of personnel responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire new food service personnel.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Possess a strong understanding of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
- Organize and establish work schedules for staff.
This position also involves participation in community programs aimed at supporting newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous peoples, as well as initiatives that promote youth employment.
