Position Overview:

WSP Canada is seeking a proficient hydraulic engineer to join our expanding water modeling division. This role involves collaborating with specialists in hydraulic transients and advanced 3D simulations. You will manage individual projects while also contributing to extensive regional assessments within a multidisciplinary environment. This position presents opportunities to engage in more intricate projects utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, oversee project coordination, and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee 2 to 3 projects concurrently
  • Establish connections with clients and industry peers
  • Collaborate with team members and experts on both local and global initiatives
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers
  • Employ advanced tools and technologies
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in hydraulic transient analysis
  • P.Eng. designation (or eligible to obtain within 1 year)
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities
  • Preferred experience with specific software applications and hydraulic systems
