Environmental Engineer - Water Resources Specialist

SRK Consulting is a leading international consulting practice providing integrated consulting services to the mining and metals sector.

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineer - Water Resources Specialist to join our surface water team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement water management strategies for mining projects.
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis and design to inform pipeline and channel conveyance design.
  • Evaluate hydrological regimes to inform site water management decisions.
  • Assess water quality and treatment processes to inform water treatment design.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mining, water resource, or chemical engineering.
  • 3-6 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills in Excel, with experience in specialized design/analysis software an asset.
  • Professional registration or eligibility to obtain it.
